Porterhouse Medical Group is thrilled to congratulate Jack Gibbons once again – this time on his promotion to the role of Medical Writer.
Jack joined the Porterhouse family as an Associate Editor in February 2020 with a BSc (Hons) in anatomy and human biology and an MRes in biomedical sciences and translational medicine from the University of Liverpool. Since then, he has become an extremely valuable member of the Porterhouse family, consistently demonstrating his hard-working nature and willingness to help other teams.
In February 2021, Jack decided to extend his love of writing and take part in the Porterhouse Bungee Programme*, after which he permanently transitioned from being an Editor to an Associate Medical Writer. Jack has made a fantastic impression on the global ophthalmology team as a writer, receiving glowing feedback from clients, key opinion leaders and colleagues alike along the way. His positive, supportive attitude and thorough approach have cemented his role in the team, and he is always willing to go the extra mile to help his team members. He has adapted quickly to his role, producing some very high-quality work, and he is always happy to switch to editor mode and draw on his editing skills when needed.
Beyond his client work, Jack has also taken on the role of Porterhouse Bungee Programme Coordinator and has active roles in both our Environmental Group and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Group, demonstrating his commitment to Porterhouse values.

*The Porterhouse Bungee Programme is an internal initiative that enables ambitious employees to undertake a part-time, fixed-term placement in a different department or team within Porterhouse.
