Porterhouse Medical Group is delighted to announce the promotion of Sarah Brun Bar-Yaacov to the role of Senior Medical Writer.
Sarah joined our global scientific services team in July 2019 with experience in pharmacovigilance and a PhD in virology, an MSc in biomedical sciences and a BSc in molecular biology. Since then, Sarah has proven herself to be a great asset to the company. She is an integral part of our global ophthalmology team, leading numerous large projects (often at the same time). Sarah’s calm and pragmatic approach to her work goes a long way to instilling confidence in clients, and she has used this to great effect when coordinating medical training meetings with tight timelines and countless moving parts. In addition, Sarah is dedicated to staying at the forefront of therapy area updates through regular attendance at congresses as part of her role as a member of the Porterhouse Intelligence Hub Surveillance Team.
Beyond her work in ophthalmology, Sarah has also had great success with publications in rare diseases and continues to balance several ongoing activities across key accounts.
In addition to her client work, Sarah embraced our mission to improve people’s lives as she was a long-serving member of the Charity Committee; during her time on the committee she helped to organise various fundraising activities for initiatives, such as Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, and our charity partners.
