Porterhouse is delighted to introduce Isabel Levy, who has joined our graduate internship programme, Porterhouse Pathfinders.
Isabel (Issy) has joined Porterhouse Medical for a 3-month internship having recently completed a MPhil in Genomic Medicine at the University of Cambridge, investigating the effect of developmental stage on response to mutagenesis utilising intestinal organoid models. She also holds a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Bristol, where she completed a proteomics and bioinformatics-based final year research project on B-Cell lymphoma protein 3 in colorectal carcinogenesis.
Issy has previously worked as a Graduate Research Intern at Santorini Scientific, and has volunteered at Personalize My Medicine, a group aiming to make medical information more accessible.
In her free time, Issy is passionate about fitness and the impact of diet on lifestyle. Plus, she is a keen cook and dinner party host extraordinaire.

The Pathfinders Internship Programmes
The Porterhouse Pathfinders programme offers first-hand experience and training in one of two global agencies within the healthcare industry: Porterhouse Medical, specialising in scientific and medical communications, or Porterhouse Insights, an insights, research and evidence consultancy.
These 12-week paid internships offer bright and enthusiastic life-sciences graduates the opportunity to experience the workings of successful global agencies and how they meet the evolving needs of their pharmaceutical and biotech clients in the development and promotion of medicines and medical products. In addition to gaining experience of the latest industry-specific tools and processes, and providing general support to our relevant teams, candidates undertake their own supervised project.
