Hot topics at the 16th EURetina Congress include age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and imaging. The congress, being held in Copenhagen between the 8th and 11th of September, attracts retinal specialists from around the globe. This year’s Kreissig lecture, entitled ‘Nutrition, genes and age-related macular degeneration: what have we learned from the trials’, will be given by Dr Emily Chew from the US National Eye Institute.
