Porterhouse Medical Group is delighted to welcome Jennifer Shepherd to our globally acclaimed scientific services team as a Senior Medical Writer.
Jen joins the Porterhouse team as an experienced scientific editor and medical writer with expertise in a variety of project types (including publication planning) across a range of different therapy areas. She is highly qualified for her role with a BSc in microbiology and virology and a PhD in microbial biochemistry and structural biology from the University of Warwick. After completing her studies, Jen spent four years working as a postdoctoral research scientist at the Ohio State University, USA. She has also worked as an assistant editor at BioMed Central, and has three years’ experience working as a medical writer at other medical communications agencies, including Prime Global. More recently, Jen has been working as a freelance medical writer to give her the flexibility to look after her family. Outside of work, Jen likes cooking and reading so hopefully will enjoy our charity bake offs and virtual book club.
