As part of the SCIRIS Group, Porterhouse is proud that our very own Creative Lead, Tom Pullen, participated as a judge at the Pharmaceutical Marketing (PM) Society Awards 2023, which was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 17th March.
Tom joined SCIRIS colleagues and judges, Andrew Short (Global Creative & Digital Director from 3 Stories High) – who has been an active presence at the PM Society Awards for decades – and Sharaz Luke (Head of Strategy & Innovation from Indigo Medical)
SCIRIS CEO Isaac Batley and Group Talent Manager, Meg Rycroft, also attended the prestigious event.
The Awards Day
Now in its 37th year, the PM Society Awards showcases a vast array of creative work across the industry and has long been a key annual event for healthcare agency and pharma marketing professionals.
With over 1,000 in attendance at the event, it was clear that the event was a celebration of the quality and best practice in healthcare communications.
Some of the entries were truly extraordinary and really pushed the boundaries in terms of design, creativity and innovation.
There were also new categories in the field of diversity and inclusion, as well as creative impact, showing that the organisational committee are keen to ensure that the awards stay relevant with the changing times.
The full list of the finalists from 2023 can be found on PM Society Website, link below:

Contributions from sponsors and donations in the room amassed a significant amount (£10K) for the recognised charity, which this year was muscular dystrophy charity, Duchenne UK.
And it was great to see SCIRIS CEO Isaac on stage for the Champagne giveaway! Unfortunately, the champagne didn’t find its way to the SCIRIS table no 54!
Nevertheless, a lot of networking opportunities were taken, a few glasses of wine were enjoyed, and the event was an excellent opportunity to recognise and learn from the cutting-edge work of a huge team of creatives, writers, designers and marketers in the healthcare industry.
