Porterhouse is thrilled to welcome Ellen Loft to the team as the latest intern in our graduate Pathfinders Internship Programme.
Ellen brings a strong scientific background to her internship, having graduated with a first-class BSc in Natural Sciences from the University of Leeds, during which she completed a microbiology research project focusing on SUMOylation and the insulin cycle.
Ellen has a keen interest in medical writing, with prior writing experience from her role as part of the Write in the Loop team, where she wrote interactive, informative articles on various topics across life sciences. Ellen also has experience in managing client feedback and coordinating a team from her role as a Student Consultant and Team Leader for an agrotechnology start-up company called Doorcas Africa.
During her time with Porterhouse, Ellen will be working closely with our scientific and client services teams supporting a range of projects, gaining hands-on experience in medical writing and client engagement. She will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful communications projects that bridge the gap between medical advances and patient care.
Welcome to the Porterhouse family, Ellen. We look forward to working with you and hope you enjoy your internship with us.
The Porterhouse Pathfinders Internship Programmes are designed to nurture the next generation of talented professionals in medical communications and insights research.
