Porterhouse Medical is delighted to welcome our recent intern, Saffron Goldsworthy, back to our growing healthcare communications agency as a permanent member of the team.
After completing the 12-week Porterhouse Pathfinders Internship Programme, Saffron has joined our global client services team as Account Executive, where she will employ her scientific expertise, and her strong organisational skills to help in the creation and delivery of medical events and communications.
Saffron is highly qualified for her new role, as she holds a BSc in Neuroscience with Psychology from the University of Aberdeen and a MSc in Molecular Neuroscience from the University of Bristol, which she completed in 2023.
Since graduating, Saffron has worked as a Surgical Neurophysiologist Trainee at InoMed Neurocare and served as voluntary editor for the Parkinson’s UK Bristol Group’s monthly newsletter – both of which should help her make a strong contribution to impactful communications projects that bridge the gap between medical advances and patient care.
When asked about her new role, Saffron commented:
“I am very pleased to be returning to Porterhouse Medical as an Account Executive after having such a great experience with the Pathfinders Internship Programme. I found the internship incredibly valuable for expanding my knowledge of the medical communications industry and gaining hands-on experience in both the medical writer and account executive roles.
The people at Porterhouse create such a welcoming and supportive environment that I just knew this was the place to kickstart my career!”
Jan Coetzee, Talent Manager at Porterhouse, also, added:
“I’m delighted to welcome Saffron back to Porterhouse! Saffron’s journey is a testament to the benefits and opportunities that the Porterhouse Pathfinders Internships provide both to the company and graduates. We are proud to nurture talent and aid the professional development of young people at the start of their careers.”
Welcome back to the Porterhouse family, Saffron. We look forward to working with you and are excited to see the fresh perspectives that you will bring and the impact you will make in your new role.
