Porterhouse Medical Group is delighted to have been selected as a finalist for the Communiqué Awards 2020 in the category of ‘Excellence in National or Local Education Meetings/Stand-Alone Events’.
This category recognises domestic meetings series or stand-alone events that a) facilitate the integration of national clinical/professional expertise and experts, and b) provide robust guidance consistent with the national guidelines applied in the local setting of each delegate.
Successful entries in this category had to demonstrate how the meeting or event has resulted in a positive change in awareness and understanding among delegates that will ultimately inspire them to initiate local education campaigns or alter their own teaching/clinical practices. For our entry, Porterhouse gauged these changes using our bespoke Porterhouse BPS metrics tool – a measure of teaching effectiveness – which provided very positive feedback. Our entry also highlighted how the educational content we produce has increased awareness and knowledge of effective diagnosis/treatment, optimised patient care pathways and ultimately had the potential to improve standards of care.
At Porterhouse, we are passionate about achieving excellent outcomes for our clients, and we are delighted that our work has been recognised in this way. We look forward to the final results, which will be revealed at the Communiqué Awards Ceremony via live stream on Thursday 2 July 2020.
