Porterhouse Medical is thrilled to welcome the latest member of our global scientific services team, Jade Roberts.
Jade has joined our growing agency as an Associate Medical Writer. She brings strong scientific and educational expertise to her new role, as she holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of Reading and an MRes from Imperial College London in Biomedical Sciences.
She has, also, recently completed her PhD in Oncology at the University of Reading -where her research explored how calcium signalling and mechanical cues converge to regulate cell-to-cell communication, demonstrating that similar signalling strategies can mediate malignancy differently in aggressive cancer models such as breast carcinoma and glioblastoma.
Alongside her doctoral training, Jade was awarded Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) in recognition of her contributions to teaching and learning support in higher education.
She has valuable experience translating complex scientific data into engaging materials for diverse audiences, through her work with HaemAnalytica, Aspire Scientific, the Centre for Integrative Neuroscience and Neurodynamics (CINN), and Klarity Health Library.
In her spare time, Jade is a plant enthusiast and spends much of her free time attempting to grow carnivorous plants – some would say a pitcher-perfect hobby!😊
