We are delighted to announce the appointment of Michael Tague (Mike) as President of our US-based operation, Porterhouse Medical US.

Mike has strong heritage in medical communications, having recently left CMC Connect (IPG Health Medical Communications) where over a period of 8 years he developed and executed a sustainable US strategic growth plan. During this time, his leadership resulted in the addition of 45 staff members across North America, a commensurate increase in gross revenue and consistent year-on-year revenue growth.

Mike’s roles have provided extensive experience leading cross-functional agency teams working directly with pharma clients at all levels in medical affairs, marketing and sales. He has been involved in delivering a broad range of projects such as medical and scientific communications, publications, HCP marketing, digital marketing, online media, DTC/DTP communications, sales force effectiveness and sales training.

When asked about his new role, Mike replied: “It’s an exciting time to join Porterhouse Medical in the US given the increasing need of scientific and medical communications across the biopharma sector.  The complexity of science continues to increase, to the betterment of patient care, and as a result clients look to their medical communications agencies to play an increasing role in pre-launch and launch success.  Including wider support from the SCIRIS group of agencies, we can flex depending on client needs, offering integrated cross agency solutions as well as targeted scientific and medical communications programs.”

Mike lives in Pennsylvania with his wife and family and is a huge Eagles fan.
