New member of Porterhouse Scientific Services team passes his PhD viva.

Porterhouse Medical is delighted to announce that our new Associate Medical Writer, Tom O’Sullivan, passed his PhD viva!

Tom carried out his PhD in the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences at the University of Leicester where he looked at the mechanisms behind skeletal muscle wasting in chronic kidney disease patients. Luckily, he managed to finish his laboratory work before the pandemic, and he wrote his thesis before joining the Nottingham branch of Porterhouse Medical in September.

His great writing skills, broad scientific knowledge, hard work and determination have not gone unnoticed, and we are grateful that he chose to start his career with us. We are so proud of all his efforts so far and look forward to seeing him thrive in the Porterhouse family.

At Porterhouse Medical Group, all of our medical writers have a solid scientific background, allowing them to quickly get to grips with new products, understand and develop key communication objectives, and interpret complex data with accuracy and precision. They combine this with exceptional attention to detail and keen commercial thinking to deliver creative, impactful solutions that are scientifically sound and compliant with all relevant codes of practice.
