This week (18–24 May) is Mental Health Awareness Week, and the theme this year is ‘kindness’. Acts of kindness (to ourselves and to other people) can have a positive impact on our mental health and on wider society, as explained here: https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/publications/doing-good-does-you-good/health-benefits-altruism.
Therefore, to mark Mental Health Awareness Week and in keeping with some of our company values (family, humour and happiness), our Mental Health First Aiders at Porterhouse, Becky and Rose, have developed a game of ‘kindness bingo’ for the Porterhouse family. The aim of the game is to complete all nine acts of kindness featured in the squares of the bingo grid as quickly as possible and then email the Mental Health First Aiders with the word ‘BINGO’. The fastest people to do this will win, and winners will be announced at the end of the week. Good luck to all members of the Porterhouse family!
