Porterhouse Medical Group is proud to announce another long-service award within our global healthcare communications group. We would like to congratulate Emma Handley on an incredibly successful 15-year career in our scientific services team.
Emma joined Porterhouse in 2006 with a BSc in biochemistry from the University of Nottingham. She had already worked as an editor in Guildford at the same company as our Joint Managing Directors, Brian Parsons and Jon Hallows, before they set up Porterhouse Medical in 2002. Emma began her career at Porterhouse as a medical writer; since then, she has had many different roles, including client lead, training manager, senior reviewer and editor, and has also raised two lovely children along the way.
Brian said, “We were very lucky to persuade Emma to join the company back in 2006. She’s a great writer and editor and a very safe pair of hands when it comes to client relationships. It’s very rewarding to watch someone’s career develop and prosper over such a long period of time and to look back and see what you’ve achieved together.’’
One of Emma’s latest roles is to manage the Porterhouse Academy, which is our online training course that helps to develop the skills and abilities of our new starters.
Congratulations and thank you Emma, for an amazing 15-years in the Porterhouse family. We look forward to watching your career continue to grow with us for many years to come.
