Porterhouse Medical is thrilled to welcome Hafsa Hersi to our team as the latest intern in our graduate Pathfinders Internship Programme. Hafsa joins us with a strong academic background in biomedical sciences which makes her an excellent fit for our global healthcare communications agency.
Hafsa has recently graduated with an MSc in Infection and Immunity from UCL, where she conducted a research project investigating the regulation of HIV-1 latency. She also has a BSc in Biochemistry from King’s College London.
Hafsa lives in London, where she has lived most of her life, so her internship will involve hybrid placement based remotely and in our London office. During her time with Porterhouse, she will be working closely with our medical writers and client services teams, contributing to the development of clear and engaging medical content that supports healthcare professionals and patients alike. She will gain hands-on experience, mentorship from industry experts, and the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that bridge the gap between medical research and patient care.
Welcome to the Porterhouse family, Hafsa. We are excited to see the fresh perspectives and enthusiasm you will bring to our teams, and hope you enjoy your internship with us.
The Pathfinders Internship Programme is designed to nurture the next generation of leaders in medical communications. For more information, please visit our careers page or contact us at careers@porterhousemedical.com
