As part of our fundraising activity to raise money for our charity partner YoungMinds, the Porterhouse charity team has been running a fun, company wide Olympics sweepstake. The event kicked off in line with the opening ceremony and Porterhouse Beer O’Clock on Friday 23 July, and included a draw of the countries taking part in the delayed Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Participants paid to enter the sweepstake (all proceeds will be donated to YoungMinds) and have each been randomly assigned countries. Further details of the winning criteria and prizes have been provided to our teams (and can be found below) so participants know what to look out for as they enjoy watching the different sporting events. There was also an Olympics-themed quiz at the Beer O’Clock to get everyone in the spirit of the Games!
For those members of the Porterhouse family who haven’t entered the sweepstake, they are still able to get involved by entering our Olympics photo competition, which calls for fun photos of our teams watching and enjoying the Games.
Good luck to all participants! We hope you are enjoying the Games and thank you to our charity team (Jerusha, Jess, Laura, Lucy and Paula) for giving up their time to organise this FUNdraising activity.
