Porterhouse’s environmental mission: The Porterhouse Medical Group Environmental Policy

At Porterhouse Medical Group, as part of our mission to improve lives, we recognise that we have a responsibility to the environment and to do our part in preventing the escalation of the climate crisis. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact across all areas of the business and making sure the continuous improvement of environmental performance is an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods in order to tackle climate change.

We are therefore taking steps to ensure that we become more eco-friendly in all aspects of our professional lives by working towards ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 14001 certification. ISO 14001 is an international standard that outlines the requirements for an efficient environmental management system; therefore, complying with this standard allows an organisation to enhance its environmental performance in accordance with an internationally recognised protocol. As part of the ISO 14001 certification, we have produced an environmental policy. A copy of this policy, which also includes our mission statement and a list of the policy aims, is published on our website at: porterhousemedical.com/resources/.

We hope that our efforts in obtaining ISO 14001 certification, including the creation of our environmental policy, will inspire our staff, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to take positive steps to lessen their own impacts on the environment.
