At Porterhouse, we take great pride in the passion and dedication of our team members—both in their professional work and their personal contributions to meaningful causes. One of our Senior Medical Writers, Danielle Frodyma, was recently featured on her local news program in Omaha, Nebraska, for her impactful work in supporting children with cancer.

Danielle visited a local school classroom to read her children’s book, Cal Clobbers Cancer, a story designed to help young readers understand and navigate the challenges of childhood cancer. This reading was particularly significant as two students in the class are currently undergoing treatment. Her book provided a valuable source of education, hope, and comfort—not just for the students facing cancer but also for their friends, families, and classmates who want to support them.

This heart-warming news segment showcases the power of storytelling in medical communications to raise awareness and help foster understanding. Danielle’s work is a shining example of how compassionate communication can make a real difference in people’s lives, and we are incredibly proud to have her as part of the Porterhouse Medical team.
