Porterhouse Medical is thrilled to introduce the latest member our global scientific services team: Audrey Smith, who has joined our US-based agency as Associate Medical Writer.
Audrey has a strong academic background, as she holds a BSc in Biochemistry with a minor in Mathematics from Lee University, Cleveland, TN. In 2024, she completed her PhD in cancer research at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska.
Audrey shares our passion for scientific communication and brings valuable medical writing experience to her new role. Audrey has published several manuscripts and presented her work at a variety of conferences. She has also honed her educational skills acting as a mentor for school students and undergraduates during her scientific career.
In her spare time, Audrey likes to run and still aspires to compete in endurance sports. She loves being outdoors, especially hiking or running trails with her husband, friends, and her dog. She is also passionate about food – constantly exploring new cuisines, baking sweets for friends, or trying out new recipes.
