Porterhouse Medical Group boosts its scientific services team

Tony Ferrar

The Porterhouse Medical Group is delighted to welcome Tony Ferrar to our scientific services team based in Reading.

With a passion for science, Tony has over 12 years of experience in academic research. After obtaining a BSc and MSc in biochemistry from the University of Calgary, Canada, he moved to Barcelona, Spain, to work as a scientist at the Centre for Genomic Regulation. His main project focused on engineering the human lung pathogen Mycoplasma pneumoniae as a vector to treat lung diseases. Since 2014, he has also been working actively as a freelance scientific writer, concentrating mostly on publications for international journals, grants and conference reports.

Tony has joined Porterhouse Medical as a medical writer, where we are sure his scientific expertise and experience will be a great asset to the team.

At Porterhouse Medical, all of our scientific writers have a solid scientific background, allowing them to quickly get to grips with new products, understand and develop key communication objectives, and interpret complex data with accuracy and precision. They combine this with exceptional attention to detail and keen commercial thinking to deliver creative, workable solutions that are scientifically sound and compliant with all relevant pharmaceutical codes of practice.
