Porterhouse Medical US is thrilled to welcome a further new member to our growing agency this week. We are delighted to introduce Michaela Price, who has joined our Scientific Services team as an Associate Medical Writer.
Michaela promises to be an excellent addition to our global healthcare communications agency as she brings a powerful blend of scientific expertise and editorial leadership to her new role. She holds a BS in Biology from the University of Georgia and a PhD in Neuroscience from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, followed by a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
With seven years of experience as a science communicator, Michaela has crafted high-quality deliverables for researchers, healthcare professionals, and the public. Her work consistently reflects her dedication to elevating scientific understanding and supporting better patient care.
Michaela shares our passion for improving patients’ lives through clear, accurate communication. One of her proudest achievements is her role as Managing Editor of The Pipeline Blog, where she not only authored articles on drugs and biologics but also helped the publication grow – significantly expanding its contributor base from 3 to 21 writers and overseeing the publication of 25 articles on newly approved or emerging FDA-regulated products. She also previously contributed her writing talents to the Barth Syndrome Foundation.
Outside of work, Michaela enjoys tackling puzzles, spending quality time with her cats, and volunteering with the American Medical Writers Association Carolinas Chapter.
