Porterhouse Medical boosts its growing US-based team

Porterhouse Medical is delighted to introduce Danielle Frodyma to the growing US-based team of our globally acclaimed healthcare communications agency.

Danielle has joined our global Scientific Services Team as a Senior Medical Writer. She brings a high level of scientific expertise to her new role, as she holds a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, for which her undergrad research was focused on the role of hyaluronidase in prostate cancer.

Danielle also completed a PhD in Oncology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where her focus was on colon cancer metabolism, specifically the TCA cycle, as well as an adjacent project understanding the role of the circadian rhythm in colon tumour progression. She has a post-doc as a clinical researcher at Methodist Health in the Cardiology department where she was responsible for direct patient care, assisting in surgical intervention, and managing drug and device studies.

Danielle has a wealth of valuable medical communications experience across a range of therapeutic areas including NSCLC, breast cancer, ES-SCLC, haematological malignancies, GSD1a, and hypothyroidism. She worked on conducting advisory boards, moderating internal education, gathering HCP insights, managing publications, designing disease state awareness decks, engaging KOLs, providing strategic consulting, among other tasks.

Outside of work, Danielle enjoys a busy family life with her husband, Alex and their two kids, Josie and Carter. They love to visit the Omaha Zoo, work on puzzles, and play with their two kitties, Meghan and Harry. She also likes to run, practice kickboxing, read, and go out with friends.

Welcome to the team, Danielle! We look forward to working with you and watching your career thrive within the Porterhouse family.
