Porterhouse Medical Group is delighted to welcome Lucy Liveston to our growing scientific services team.
Lucy has a love for writing and studied at the University of Strathclyde, where she received a master’s degree in pharmacy – a course that has given her a broad, applied knowledge of general physiology, pathophysiology and pharmacology. Her studies also allowed her to gain an understanding of drug discovery, development and approval processes, all of which will be extremely valuable in her new role as an Associate Medical Writer.
Lucy also has 18 months of professional experience working as a community pharmacist, which has given her a range of useful skills, including project and time management and the ability to work to an exceptional degree of accuracy and adapt her communication style to different audiences. Importantly, her experience as a practising pharmacist means that she will be able to provide invaluable insights that will strengthen our scientific and medical communications.
Welcome to the Porterhouse family, Lucy! We are looking forward to you ‘dispensing’ your pharmacy expertise around the office.
At Porterhouse Medical Group, all of our medical writers have a solid scientific background, allowing them to quickly get to grips with new products, understand and develop key communication objectives, and interpret complex data with accuracy and precision. They combine this with exceptional attention to detail and keen commercial thinking to deliver creative, impactful solutions that are scientifically sound and compliant with all relevant codes of practice.
