Award-winning medical communications agency Porterhouse Medical opens new office space

Porterhouse Medical, winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, was delighted to welcome Rob Wilson MP to open our new office in Windsor Square this month.

This is an exciting time for Porterhouse. Continued business growth in the UK and internationally has meant that we have needed to expand our teams to continue to delight our clients. As a result the company has outgrown its current office space, and so we have taken the opportunity to expand into the space next door. When the Porterhouse moved into Windsor Square in 2006, we had seven staff, eleven years on we have grown to 45.

Jon Hallows, Co-founder and Joint Managing Director, said, “It’s thrilling that all the hard work put in by our teams has paid off. We always strive to provide our clients with service levels that go beyond normal expectations. This is why they keep coming back to us and it’s also why our growth has been so spectacular.

Reading is an important central location for our company staff so we are delighted that No 3 became available, and that we that we could provide greater working space but still keep the teams together without major upheaval.”

Porterhouse Medical, a medical communications company, was established in 2002 by Brian Parsons and Jon Hallows. Medical communications agencies act at the interface between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals (HCPs). The company is a powerhouse of intellectual endeavor: most employees are university educated, many with further degrees.

Brian Parson, Co-founder and Joint Managing Director, said, “Porterhouse’s values make the company a great place to work. These focus on concepts such as sharing, passion, humour and entrepreneurship. Our people make the difference, which is why a comfortable working environment is important as we like to ensure that our staff are happy so that they in turn stay with us and do the best work for our clients.”
