Meet our new starters: Porterhouse boosts its scientific and creative expertise

PorterNew members of the Porterhouse family

Porterhouse Medical Group is delighted to announce that we have strengthened our scientific expertise and boosted our creative capacity with a host of new starters.

First, we are thrilled to welcome a fourth medical doctor, Rosalie Sykes, to our scientific services team. Rosalie graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand, with a BSc  in pharmacology and an MBChB. After graduating she worked in hospitals  in the Auckland region for three years, across a range of medical specialties, before training  and working as a general practitioner for 18 months in Whangarei and Auckland. Rosalie joins Porterhouse Medical Group as an Associate Medical Writer; a career change that will enable her to combine her interests in medicine, pharmacology and writing. Her experience will allow her to assess information from both the perspectives of a clinician and a patient, offering considerable benefits to our clients.

Second, we are delighted to welcome Caitlin Griffiths who will also be joining our scientific services team as an Associate Medical Writer. Caitlin has a background in bacterial cellular and molecular biology, having a BSc (Hons) in biomedical science from the University of Kent, and a Master of Research and a PhD from Newcastle University.

In addition, we are excited to welcome Jerusha Richardson who has a BSc in chemistry from University College London and a PGCE from the University of Warwick. Jerusha has spent several years in education, during which she wrote blog articles and study materials and so she is looking forward to applying her experience to her new role as an Associate Medical Writer  here at Porterhouse Medical Group.

Last but not least, we are pleased to welcome Chris Bellis as a new digital creative in our studio. Chris is a creative designer with previous experience working for the Internet of Things platform, Pycom and the University of Reading. Chris also has a BA (Hons) in visual communication from Arts University Bournemouth and so is equipped with a range of skills to maximise the visual impact of both our digital and printed client materials.

At Porterhouse Medical Group, all members of our scientific team have a wealth of expertise, allowing them to quickly get to grips with new products, understand and develop key communication objectives, and interpret complex data with accuracy and precision. They combine this with exceptional attention to detail and keen commercial thinking to deliver creative, impactful solutions that are scientifically sound and compliant with all relevant codes of practice.
