From Intern to Leader
Joe’s journey with Porterhouse began in 2019 as an enthusiastic intern, eager to make an impact in the field of medical communications. Within just one month of joining our Porterhouse Pathfinders programme, Joe was offered a full-time role as an Associate Medical Writer and has since become an integral member of our global scientific services team. Through consistent hard work, a passion for science, and a commitment to excellence, Joe has quickly advanced his career.
Joe is a real team player whose flexibility and enthusiasm are always greatly appreciated. He also fully encompasses one of our company’s core values of ‘humour and happiness in our working lives’, championing the social committee, the people and culture group and keeping us all active in the Porterhouse exercise group
Key Milestones in Joe’s Career
2019 Internship: Joined Porterhouse as an intern, displaying a strong aptitude for scientific writing and teamwork.
2019 Associate Medical Writer: Quickly promoted to Associate Medical Writer, where he contributed to several high-profile projects, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of complex medical data.
2020 Medical Writer: Excelled in the role of Medical Writer, consistently delivering work of the highest quality, and clear and impactful scientific communications.
2022 Senior Medical Writer: Rose to the position of Senior Medical Writer, leading key projects and developing strong relationships with clients, his teams and showcasing Porterhouse’s portfolio and expertise.
2024 Scientific Team Lead: Now, as Scientific Team Lead, Joe will be at the helm of our scientific communications team, helping to drive innovation, excellence and supporting the growth and success of our team members.
