Enhancing your medical communications with clinical expertise

Faces of the 6 Medical Doctors and Pharmacists who make up the Medical Advisory Group

Porterhouse is pleased to announce that our Medical Advisory Group (MAG) has expanded, adding new faces and pharmacological expertise to real-world clinical experience to enhance the quality and impact of our communications targeted at healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients.

Founded in 2019, the Porterhouse MAG was the inspiration of Dr. Beth Wynne-Evans and enables colleagues and clients to tap into the benefits of first-hand medical and clinical expertise. Now in its 5th year, the insights of this in-house expert team continue to allow content to be crafted in a way that reflects HCPs’ real-world practices, addressing topics and concerns that are both relevant and pressing in medical fields. Our clinical specialists help our global teams ensure that communications reflect real-world patient care scenarios, incorporating perspectives that resonate with HCPs and improve practical understanding. This expertise helps tailor messages to specific healthcare settings, such as hospitals, primary care, or specialty clinics.

Our latest members introduce four clinical and community pharmacists to the Group, who are familiar with working in multi-disciplinary teams, managing formulary lists and the minutiae of the prescription process. By adding pharmacological expertise to the MAG, the team can provide deep insights into medication management, and help evaluate and structure content to emphasise patient safety and communicate the complexities of medication management across healthcare settings, ensuring that information supports cohesive, interdisciplinary care.

Additionally, the MAG members’ familiarity with patient questions and concerns about treatments, helps our teams ensure that patient-focused content is accessible, addresses common concerns, and facilitates informed discussions between patients and their healthcare providers.

By integrating medical, clinical, and pharmacological expertise in our Medical Advisory Group, Porterhouse can enhance the impact of content designed to meet the needs of both HCPs and patients. This multidisciplinary approach ultimately supports better healthcare outcomes, and ensures that our work remains credible, ethical, and aligned with professional standards.
