Porterhouse Medical Group is delighted to announce that Luke Smith has been promoted to the role of Medical Writer.
Luke joined our global scientific services team in September 2020 with a BA in English literature from the University of Warwick and experience working as an editor. Luke also has a BSc in biomedicine from Birkbeck University of London and completed an MRes and a PhD at King’s College London.
Since joining Porterhouse, Luke has proven himself to be a real asset to the company, despite the challenges of getting to grips with a new role while we’ve all been working remotely. He has quickly become an integral part of two key client teams, having impressed both colleagues and clients alike with his work ethic and expertise.
In addition to this, Luke has helped to raise awareness for those affected by Aicardi syndrome, anaemia and sickle cell disease by using his scientific and editorial expertise to write articles for the Porterhouse website and social media.
Congratulations on your very well-deserved promotion and thank you for all of your hard work so far, Luke! We look forward to seeing your career progress further within the Porterhouse family.
