Sharing the career timeline of one of Porterhouse’s senior women – Alison Washer

Today marks the fifth day in Porterhouse’s countdown to the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, held on 11 February 2021. In today’s material, we will be providing you with the career timeline of one of our more senior women, Porterhouse’s very own Alison Washer, Group Director, Client Services. The aim of providing you with Alison’s career timeline is to increase the transparency of how STEM-related careers can lead to careers in healthcare communications and how you can progress to the most senior-level positions within our industry. We also hope that, by providing this career timeline, we can inspire junior-level employees throughout the healthcare communications industry to strive for these senior-level positions.

At Porterhouse Medical Group, all members of our team have a solid scientific background, allowing them to quickly get to grips with new products, understand and develop key communication objectives, and interpret complex data with accuracy and precision. They combine this with exceptional attention to detail and keen commercial thinking to deliver creative, impactful solutions that are scientifically sound and compliant with all relevant codes of practice.
