Porterhouse Medical is thrilled to welcome Lia Kisner to our team as the latest intern in our graduate Pathfinders Internship Programme.

Lia joins us with a strong academic background having recently graduated from the University of Leeds with a BSc in Pharmacology.

She has also completed a job simulation at Pfizer, providing her with insights into the different stages of the development pipeline of new medicines, identifying critical care pathways, the preparation of brand positioning statements and go-to-market strategies – valuable experience that will stand Lia in good stead for her internship in our global medical communications agency.

Lia shares our mission to improve people’s lives and give back to the community, as in her free time while at university, she volunteered for her local food bank warehouse in Leeds, helping to arrange food supplies for families in need.

Lia will be based in our London office and will be working closely with our medical writers and client services teams on the development of clear and engaging medical content that supports healthcare professionals and patients alike. She will gain hands-on experience, mentorship from industry experts, and the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that bridge the gap between medical research and patient care.

Welcome to the Porterhouse family, Lia. We hope you enjoy your internship with us and look forward to the fresh perspectives you will bring to the team.

The Porterhouse Pathfinders Internship Programme is designed to nurture the next generation of leaders in medical communications. For more information, please visit our careers page or contact us at careers@porterhousemedical.com
