At Porterhouse Medical, we are very proud of our hard-working teams and are always delighted to recognise career progression within the agency. With this in mind, we are thrilled to announce the following developments within our scientific services department in March.
Firstly we are delighted to congratulate Gillian Hancey on her promotion to Principal Medical Writer.
Gillian has been with Porterhouse since 2011 and during that time has made a huge contribution to the scientific services team, working across many of our major accounts. Since returning from maternity leave last year, Gillian has been working flexibly, partly from home and partly in the office to enable her to balance work and family life. She has primarily been applying her experience and expertise as a senior reviewer and our teams have benefited from her detailed and constructive feedback on project work.
We would also like to congratulate Alex, Graeme and Natasha on their progression in recent weeks to the role of Medical Writer. They have made an excellent start to their careers in medical communications, supporting the wider teams on a number of key activities across the haematology and rare disease teams.
Jan Coetzee, Talent Manager at Porterhouse comments, “We are committed to the ongoing professional and personal development of our team, so we are delighted to reward the dedication of our junior and senior staff. I am also overjoyed to see that our flexible working initiative is working well for both Gillian’s family and her career. Congratulations to all!”
